THE WAR

The war on furries needs to stop. It this forum we will discuss how to make ourselves an accepted group of society.
Most people think that we are weirdos that do stuff with animals, and stuff like that. We need to educate people and get to a point that people wont hate on us. Sure haters will always be around but our goals is to have less of them.

I don't think that there really is a war. There are just misunderstandings.

Yes there are trolls who also push these misunderstandings too far, but I think this is only because they want to annoy the furry they're targeting, for the lulz as it were.

There's no "war" unless we retaliate, best thing IMHO is to just ignore, block and inform admins, opers and mods where possible.

I dont really think it can be considered a "war" but like you said, more of a misunderstanding. There is a HUGE difference between bestiality and furries, and thats where people get confused and they do not really draw the line to be able to tell the difference

Ther term "War" seems a bit over board. Like others have said it's just ignorance. Most people see it as weird or strange and just ingnore us without really understanding what it is we like. I'm the only furry at my school so I'm the oddball in the class. I bet if people took the time to just listen to what the fandom is really about then it wouldn't seem like such a taboo.

@Segovia I'm glad there's a group at my school (which I introduced all of them into the fandom :F) It would be so boring without them, not to mention one of them's my girlfriend!

Yeah this is the kinda place you find people who accept you. Hell I am a TOTAL outcast upon my friends even cause I am so different, so that's why I find other people who are just plain out right insane like me

Well then lets all update the "location" part of our profiles to like a city and state, and if these forums are successful, we could just get together and have like furry meetings were we get together and play games. you members can make calender events and new topics, i haven't seen any new topics lately, just replies. i was thinking a MASS FURR PARADE through Millennium Park in Chicago. And ya, i was a bit dramatic on the WAR!!! thing lol.
